SAFETY

The trail runs through a real city. Hunt smart, hunt legal, and come home with a story instead of a problem.

21+ required

21+ only

You must be 21 or older to enter the site or run a trail. No minors on a hunt, in a group, or at a dinner event — no exceptions.

Where you hunt

No cache is ever placed on private property, behind a fence, in a crawlspace, or anywhere you'd have to trespass to reach it. If getting to a spot feels like breaking a rule, you're in the wrong place — back out and report it.

Never dig, cut, climb, or damage anything to reach a cache. Everything is placed where a person can simply walk up and look.

Hunting after dark

Bring a light, bring a friend, tell someone where you're headed. Stick to lit streets and public space. If a block doesn't feel right, leave — the cache will still be there tomorrow.

Consume after, not during

Never drive high, and don't consume mid-hunt. Log the find, get home, then enjoy it. Start low and go slow with edibles — the effects arrive late and hit harder than expected.

Keep everything you find sealed, labeled, and locked away from kids and pets.

Groups and dinner hunts

Group hunts run at 4:20 in the morning after a dinner event. Stay together, keep one sober driver, and don't race — no cache is worth a crash or a citation.

Report a bad cache

Missing cache, unsafe location, someone hoarding or reselling a find — send it to us and we'll pull the trail down the same day. Reports stay anonymous.
